I had the opportunity to get to work alongside a fantastic charity called the shooting star foundation this past week. It was a real highlight to the summer despite the temperature being about 98 degrees, taking pictures of charity golf matches is starting to become my favorite sort of monday job.

One of the highlights was learning about this great charity that does so much for the community of undiagnosed children before they get the official diagnosis and then are able to get treatment with insurance help. The other highlight was the amazing summer weather that Minnesota gets. I love being outside, pounding a red bull, and zooming around on a cart to get all the fun golf photos.



Photographing the Shooting Star Foundation Charity Golf Tournament at Bearpath Country Club

It was an honor to photograph the Shooting Star Foundation’s Chip In For Kids charity golf tournament at the beautiful Bearpath Golf & Country Club in Eden Prairie. The annual event brings together generous sponsors, community members, and local athletes to raise money for children in need of life-changing therapy and support.

From the excitement on the first tee to the laughter shared throughout the day, it was a privilege to capture the energy, friendships, and generosity that make this event so special. Bearpath provided a stunning backdrop, with its championship Jack Nicklaus-designed course creating the perfect setting for a memorable day of golf and giving.

One of the highlights of the tournament was seeing the winning team, made up of Minnesota Wild players, take home the top honors. Their competitive spirit and willingness to support such an important cause made the day even more memorable.

As an event photographer, I love documenting moments that tell a story—not just of competition, but of people coming together to make a difference.
